We're pleased to welcome Markus Maurerto EMAGE as our Managing Director for the European Union.
Markus brings over 15 years of experience in the transmission sector, with deep expertise in grid operation, asset management, and large-scale project portfolio delivery across the European Union.
He joins EMAGE from TransnetBW, one of Germany's leading transmission system operators, where he most recently served as Head of Operation Planning & Technology. In this role, he built and led a team of more than 80 professionals, driving asset operation strategies, enhancing project delivery models, and leading cross-TSO collaboration to harmonize standards across the EU grid. He has also been responsible for managing complex project portfolios exceeding €300 million and has worked closely with industry bodies, including ENTSO-E, contributing to the development of transmission frameworks within the European Union.
As Managing Director, Markus will lead EMAGE's growth across the European Union, strengthen our engagement with TSOs, utilities, and key stakeholders, and drive the deployment of our advanced transmission solutions in the region.
